SphericalRegion.dot_outer(other: Vector3d, lazy: bool = False, chunk_size: int = 20, progressbar: bool = False) ndarray[source]#

Return the outer dot products of all vectors and all the other vectors.

Parameters:
other

Compute the outer dot product with these vectors.

lazy

Whether to perform the computation lazily with Dask. Default is False.

chunk_size

Number of orientations per axis to include in each iteration of the computation. Default is 20. Only applies when lazy is True.

progressbar

Whether to show a progressbar during computation if lazy is True. Default is True.

Returns:
dot_products

Dot products.
